Gorham Grange built this building on Elm Street about 1890 but a few years later it was moved to its present location at 19 State St. in Gorham Village. A story said it sat in the middle of the square for a week during the move.

The Centre of Movement School of Performing Arts now owns the building. Previously, Frank Wilbur and Walter Libby owned the building and operated the Gorham Flea Market there when this photo was taken.
