On February 4, the Cumberland County Lincoln Club will hold its 121st Lincoln dinner in honor of President Abraham Lincoln. Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, as well as the candidates for the Republican nomination for governor have been invited.

Professor Joseph Reisert will be the featured speaker. Educated at Princeton and Harvard, Reisert is the chair of the government department at Colby College where he teaches courses in political theory and constitutional law.

The dinner will be held at the Italian Heritage Center located on outer Congress Street behind the Westgate Shopping Center. There will be a cocktail hour beginning at 6:00 p.m. with piano music supplied by Charles Brown.
