Paperweight Collecton
On display at the Windham Public library now through Dec. 17 is a beautiful collection of paperweights from Betty Winslow. She has collected them for about 15 years, starting with the first one that she purchased in Florida. While she knows that signed and dated paperweights, as well as commemorative ones, can be valuable, she enjoys collecting all paperweights since they are small, can be easily displayed, and can be purchased anywhere in her travels.
She has arranged the library exhibit according to similarities in color or theme, and it makes for a lovely display. Do stop by the library for a look at this wonderful collection. Call the library for more information or for directions (892-1908). The Windham Public Library is located at 217 Windham Center Road, and is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on T, TH, F; 9:30-8 on M, W; and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
