Windham's bulky waste drop-off continues this weekend

1 min read

Since Windham is holding their bulky waste drop off program through Oct. 16, there is still time to throw away that item or items that otherwise would cost a lot of money to discard.

The drop-off facility will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following dates: Thursday, Oct. 6 thru Sunday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 13 thru Sunday, Oct. 16.

Residents and/or property owners in the following categories eligible to participate in the drop-off program include residents of single family homes, multi-units, condominiums and elderly housing.

Those in the following categories not eligible to participate in the drop-off program include contractors, commercial haulers and all commercial vehicles.

Identification is required for residents using this program as they enter the facility. Residents or property owners having contractors haul their waste must accompany any load of waste to ensure use of this program by Windham residents and property owners. Acceptable forms of identification include a driver’s license or other photo ID, vehicle registrations, property tax bills, or other identification showing name and physical address.

Please sort your loads. If you sort prior to entering the facility your wait time will be drastically reduced. For more information, call 892-1909 or check out www.windhamweb.com.
