On Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. the Naples Public Library will host a free introductory scrapbooking workshop. Scrapbooking is a hobby where people insert personal photos, journal entries, newspaper clippings or other memorabilia into decorated scrapbooks. This is a great way to organize all of your treasured family memories. Scrapbooks also make great gifts for loved ones.
The class will be led by Leslie Brooks of Raymond who is a consultant with Creative Memories. Brooks has been leading scrapbooking get-togethers for over four years. Her enthusiasm and skilled leadership will make for a fun evening.
Class participants will receive a free starter kit containing paper, stickers and a journaling box. These will be used to enhance and showcase your personal photos.
Please call the Naples Public Library at 693-6841 to register for this free class. Class size is limited. For other library events, check out www.naples.lib.me.us.
