Cutline (Baxter Museum) – Six-year-old Elle, who toured the Baxter Museum on Thursday with her sister, Cathy, and their mom, Amy Geren of Gorham, checks out a canopy over an antique bed. Cutline (Esty twins) – Sara and Leigh-Ann Esty, 19-year-old twins from Gorham, were home in June taking ballet classes at Maine State Ballet in Falmouth. After a year with the Miami City Ballet School, the twins will begin a student apprenticeship contract with the Miami City Ballet in August. Siegler memorial on fourth
Mark and Lucille Siegler of Lowell Road celebrated the memory of his mother, Marilyn G. (Speirs) Siegler, with a cookout and fireworks on the Fourth of July at the Siegler camp on Little Sebago Lake.
Family and friends shared their memories of Marilyn, who passed away on April 14. She had requested that they gather to celebrate the Fourth.

Jason Schucker of 14 Solomon Drive has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston.
Alexander R. Crosby has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.
Crosby, a freshman, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Crosby of 56 Valley View Drive. He is majoring in mechanical engineering.
Stephanie Barrow has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Western New England College in Springfield, Mass.
Jamie-Lynn Crowe, majoring in sport management, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, N.H.
Stacy Elizabeth Theriault has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, N.H.
Heather L. Richard has been named to second honors on the dean’s list for the spring semester at Clark University in Worcester, Mass.
A biology major, Richard is a member of the class of 2005.
Matthew A. Suss, an English major, has been named to second honors on the dean’s list for the spring semester at Clark University. Suss is also a member of the class of 2005.
Amy Lindeman has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass.
Bean-hole beans
The United Church of Christ at North Gorham, 4 Standish Neck Road, is hosting a bean-hole bean supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 16.
Gazebo concert
The Delta Knights will entertain in a free concert from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, at the gazebo on the lawn of the Municipal Center on Main Street.
The concert is part of a continuing series sponsored by the Gorham Recreation Department.

The Westbrook American reported in its issue of Wednesday, June 13, 1955, that Mona Weir, secretary to Clarence Carll of Carll Insurance Agency, was spending her vacation in Boothbay Harbor.
