With illnesses surging, Midcoast schools urge students to stay home if they aren’t feeling well
A recent spike in respiratory illnesses this month caused multiple schools in Bath, Brunswick, Harpswell and Topsham to close briefly for cleaning.

RSV continues to bulldoze Midcoast schools, causing teachers to call out sick
Kate Furbish Elementary in Brunswick closed last week after several staff members apparently contracted RSV, COVID-19 and influenza; Morse High School was closed Friday, Dec. 16, due to high absence among staff.
