BRUNSWICK — Theodore and Nancy (Hanks) Laitala, of 9 Federal St. in Brunswick, are observing their 50th wedding anniversary. The celebration is on Aug. 10. The couple, who have four children and four grandchildren, are both retired. Theodore was a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy, while Nancy was an art educator.
