South Berwick man told police he accidentally shot and killed girlfriend

A police affidavit against Jeremiah Godfrey states that he told investigators the gun went off when Sherri Sweet tried to grab it from his hands.

Maine State Police have charged Jeremiah Godfrey, 43, with murder in the shooting death of Sherri Sweet, 37.

Several grapplers return to the list, including one who earned his 200th career victory this season.
