Maria Skillings covers general news for the towns of Topsham, Lisbon, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham and Harpswell. She graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School, then received her B.A. in Theater from the University of Maine at Farmington. Maria went on to study film in New York City, where she worked as a stand-up comedian for three years. Eventually making the move to Los Angeles, she discovered her love of writing.
