BOSTON — Junior attacker Kasey Fries became just the fourth Simmons College women’s lacrosse player in school history to net 100 career goals with a pair of scores in a 15-1 victory over visiting University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest at Daly Field.
The Sharks improved to 4- 6 overall, including 2-1 in league play, while the Blue Jays fell to 2-2 and 0-2.
Former Mt. Ararat High School standout Lauren Williams had a memorable game for Simmons, scoring her first collegiate goal.
