The Topsham Parks and Recreation Department is once again offering several programs throughout the summer and into the fall.

Challenger Soccer Camp
Topsham Parks and Recreation is again pleased to sponsor the Challenger Sports Soccer Camp the week of August 14-18. This unique camp provides participants the ability to gain exposure of the English culture and the game of soccer through British counselors. This program is scheduled to take place at the Foreside Field area. Cost for camp includes a shirt and ball.
Children ages 4-6 (minicamp) from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. Cost — $93 or $101 for non-Topsham resident.
Children 6-12, from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost — $134 or $144 non-Topsham resident.
Track & Field
Starts June 20 at the Mt. Ararat High School Track. Practices will run Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m.
The first USATF Meet will be on June 29. Meets are on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children Ages 8-14 may participate in field and running events throughout the summer months. Children age seven are welcome, with parental supervision, to practice with siblings, but may not compete in meets.
Parents must provide transportation to meets. A $2 fee per meet and cold lunch will be required. Schedule of meets and procedures will be handed out at the first night.
Cost to register is $55 for SAD 75 residents only and includes a track shirt. Birth Certificates and USATF form must be completed at time of registration in Parks & Recreation Office.
Sandlot Baseball
Have a child ages 8-12 (as of April 30, 2017) that loves baseball and would like to go to the field for summer fun? Join our Major Cal Ripken coach, Brett Chase, for Sandlot Baseball.
Skills and Drills one night of the week, and pick up games the other. Keep your child’s love of Baseball going!
Stars the week of June 26, ends the week of July 24. Will be held on Sundays and another day yet to be determined at 5:30 p.m. Cost to register is $20 or $25 for non- Topsham residents from SAD 75.
Topsham Youth Soccer League
The deadline to register for the Topsham Youth Soccer League is July 13! Children ages 5-14 as of October 15, 2017 that live within SAD 75 may participate. Drop off registration at the Municipal office by July 13 or have it postmarked by July 13.
Ararat Nation Baseball
Join Mt. Ararat varsity baseball Coach Bob Neron and many of his players for this week-long baseball camp at Foreside Road in Topsham. Running June 26 through Jun 29 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Players can partake in drills, skills, batting practice, game-like scenarios and game play to sharpen their baseball aptitude. Your child is sure to have fun, while focusing their energy on developing skills in the sport! Open to children ages 8-12 (as of April 30, 2017).
Ararat Nation shirts will be provided to all registrants! Cost is $45 for SAD 75 residents, $55 for non-residents.
Eagles Basketball Camp
This year we will be holding a one-week camp for girls, running July 10-14. Mt. Ararat varsity girls coach Andy Morris and his players will run the camp. All programs will be held at Mt. Ararat High School.
Grades 1-4 will be from 9 a.m. to noon.
Grades 5-8 will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Camp shirts will be provided, as well as individual skills and competition awards. Cost is $70, SAD 75 residents only.
Freshmen coach Mason Griffin and Mt. Ararat boys varsity players will be running the boys program from July 17-21.
Grades 1-4 will be from 9 a.m. to noon.
Grades 5-8 will be from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Eagle Field Hockey Camp
Participants in grades 2-8 from SAD 75 (Fall 2017) may participate. The program will run June 26-29 from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Middle School.
What to Bring? shinguards, mouthguards (molded), water bottle, sneakers or cleats and stick.
Cost is $40, which includes a shirt and certificate. Proceeds support Mt. Ararat field hockey.
‘Baby Eagles’ Field Hockey
Children ages 4-6 in SAD 75 towns only may participate. The program will run June 26-29 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Middle School.
Cost is $30, which includes a shirt and certificate. Proceeds support Mt. Ararat field hockey.
Mt. Ararat Soccer Camp
Come join Mt. Ararat Varsity soccer coach Jack Rioux for this one week skill development clinic.
Running July 24-28 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Topsham Foreside Field recreational area. High school players will offer their support and direction as counselors for this five-day program.
For children ages 5-12. Cost is $60 for SAD 75 residents, $70 for non-residents and includes a camp shirt.
Youth Golf Lessons
Our Department is pleased to offer a youth golf package through the Highland Green golf course.
This program is instructed by Gerry Caron who has been a golf instructor in the Greater Brunswick area for years. Participants ages 8-15 will learn iron play, chipping, putting and course etiquette.
Lessons will be on Tuesday mornings from 11 a.m. to noon, beginning on July 11 and running four weeks. Cost is $50 for SAD 75 residents, $57 for non-residents.
