TOPSHAM — The latest smart devices paired with U.S. Cellular’s high-speed network continue to make accessing the internet easier than ever before.
Associates from U.S. Cellular are ready to assist those interested in learning more about protecting information during a free workshop on Tuesday, June 20 from 9-10 a.m. at the U.S. Cellular store in Topsham, located at 11 Winners Circle.
Individuals do not need to be U.S. Cellular customers to attend.
“The convenience of being able to do so much on our smart devices is unmatched, but users need to know how to avoid compromising their personal information online,” said Matt Kasper, U.S. Cellular’s director of sales in New England. “With knowledge of built-in features and smart surfing, people can safely use the latest technology to access whatever they need whenever they want it.”

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
