WATERVILLE
The Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers recently added two new employees, Kelly Couture and Samantha Sturtevant, to the nonprofit’s development team. In these two newly created roles, Couture will serve as the development coordinator and Sturtevant as the media and marketing coordinator.
As development coordinator, Couture is responsible for the development and oversight of the Maine Children’s Home’s donor relationship program and fundraising strategies. Her experienced background includes sales, marketing and business development roles, including involvement with several nonprofits and event planning and growth.
In her position as media and marketing coordinator, Sturtevant will increase the organization’s recognition and reputation by implementing marketing, advertising and social media strategies.
“We are so eager to have both Kelly and Samantha join the Maine Children’s Home’s team and help carry out the important work of the development team,” said Rick Dorian, executive director. “So much of what we do here at the agency depends on the great work of this vital department.”
Couture and Sturtevant both live in Sidney with their families.
