BRUNSWICK
Brunswick police are investigating a fatal vehicle crash reported Sunday morning.
The Brunswick Communications Center received a 911 call Sunday just after 8 a.m. reporting a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Maine Street and Pleasant Hill Road.
Brunswick police, fire and rescue arrived to find a pickup truck on its left side in a wooded area. The man who was driving the truck, the sole occupant, was declared dead inside the vehicle by rescue personnel.
Police believe the crash may have occurred hours earlier, possibly late Saturday night.
The identity of the driver will not be released until family members can be notified, according to a press release issued by Brunswick police.
Brunswick police continue to investigate the crash. More information will be provided as available.
