BATH — Studio Theatre of Bath will present the next offering in their series of staged readings – Tennessee Williams’ “Suddenly Last Summer” — at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Described as one of Williams’ most haunting pieces of writing, “Suddenly Last Summer” explores how far a mother will go to preserve her son’s reputation. Directed by STB board member Kendray Rodriguez, this production features Maine actors Ann Scarponi, Kobi Appleby, Amanda Bobbe, Letia Fowlie, Heather Guglielmo, Pamela Mutty and Billy Rankis.
“Suddenly Last Summer” will be presented in the Community Room at the Patten Free Library, located at 33 Summer St. in Bath. Doors will open at 7 p.m., with the production beginning at 7:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend, but donations to Studio Theatre of Bath are encouraged.
