Deven Hannan’s goal just 25 seconds led the South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete boys hockey team to a 4- 1 high school win over Scarborough on Thursday at Troubh Arena.
The Red Riots ended a three-game losing streak to improve to 2-3.
Max Winson and Aidan Schifano assisted on Hannan’s early goal, and Mitchell Adams, Winson and Bradley McMains added a goal each in the win.
Zachary Chaisson scored the lone goal for Scarborough (2-3).
The Red Riots visit Massabesic/ Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard Beach Jan. 6 at 6:20 p.m.
