CASTINE — The Maine Maritime Academy women’s basketball team cruised to an 84-36 victory over Green Mountain College on Friday evening in North Atlantic Conference action inside of Smith Gymnasium.
The Mariners jumped out to a 22-0 lead and never looked back. MMA is 8-6 overall, 5-3 in the NAC.
Former Mt. Ararat High School standout Kristi Willey had 11 points, three assists, two rebounds and a steal in the win.
