BATH— Emma Gould led a balanced attack as the Morse High School jayvee girls basketball team downed Erskine Academy, 36-20, on Tuesday at Bath Middle School.
Marissa Parks chipped in nine points, while Maddy Mitchell picked up five in the win.
Hunter Hoque, Aubrey Hendsbee and Lydia Boucher led the Eagles with four points apiece.
Morse went 5-of-19 at the charity stripe, while the Eagles finished 4-of-17.
In the freshman contest, Erskine Academy pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 27-21 win over Morse.
Liz Sugg had a game-high 15 points for the Eagles, while Vanessa St. Pierre paced Morse with five points, followed by Lauren Baubel and Rosa Atienda with four points apiece.
At the foul line, Morse (1-4) was 3-of-7 and Erskine Academy 11-for-19.
