BATH — The Morse High School jayvee girls basketball team beat Belfast 40-25 recently.
Morse (3-3) led 3-2 after one period and the teams were tied 10-10 at the half. Morse led 22-16 going into the last period. Morse was five for 17 at the foul line and Belfast eight of 16.
Jacelyn McNeill and Sophie Sereden led the way with 10 points each and Cordelia Leeman added nine.
Belfast’s Katharine Mehurren had eight points.
Defensive player of the game for Morse was Miracle Tremble.
