LEWISTON ( AP) — Gov. Paul LePage is meeting with business and community leaders in Androscoggin County for his 12th Capitol for a Day event.
The governor today is visiting Geiger Bros. in Lewiston, K & K Excavation in Turner, and three businesses in Auburn — Savage Safe Handling Inc., Newfab Inc. and Proctor & Gamble Tambrands.
The day ends with a town hall-style meeting from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Lewiston Regional Technical Center, where LePage will be joined by several commissioners and the Maine state treasurer.
The governor has been visiting a different county each month since launching the Capitol for a Day program early last year.
