BRUNSWICK — Alice “Gracie” Hammond, 90, resident of Dionne Commons in Brunswick died Saturday, January 30, 2016. She was born August 13, 1925 in Bath, ME a daughter of George W. and Alice E. (Kingsbury) Middleton. She attended Bath schools and graduated from Morse High School. In 1946 Alice married Henry B. Hammond, Jr. and together they raised their family in Bowdoinham, Maine.

She was employed in various roles in the local area including time spent at Healthtex Incorporated and most recently at Wal-Mart.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Byron Hammond, Jr. who died May 2, 1995.

Survivors include three children, Henry B. Hammond, III of Texas, David M. Hammond of Bowdoin, ME and Holly Hein of Troy, ME and their families.
