BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High seventh grade boys basketball team used its height advantage in a 39-10 victory over Tripp Middle School.
Corbin Teal, Josh Dorr and Austin Phillips controlled the boards in leading the Huskies. Teal registered 11 caroms, Dorr had 10 and Phillips pulled down eight. Caleb Cost led the team with 12 points, followed by Teal with six. Ten out of the 12 players scored for the Huskies.
Jackson Gordon’s defensive pressure and court awareness also aided in the victory. Brunswick’s defense limited Tripp to 15 percent from the field. Josh Guerrette was instrumental in helping Brunswick to its seventh win without a loss.
