AUBURN — Sylvan Learning Center is offering free math check-ups and camp for students during school vacation week.
On Feb. 20, from noon to 1:30 p.m., Sylvan will offer children in grades 3 to 8 an opportunity to find out which math skills they excel at, and which skills they need to work on.
For additional details, parents should call Sylvan at 784- 6801. Pre-registration is required at least two days prior to the test date. Bring a friend.
From Feb. 20 to 24, Sylvan will offer a free Camp Sum Fun for children in grades 1 to 3.
Camp will run daily from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It’s designed to offer a fun approach for children to improve understanding of basic addition and subtraction facts, while increasing speed and accuracy.
