PORTLAND — Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, recently selected Portlandbased Broadreach Public Relations as its agency of record, bringing its public relations business back to Maine, where the firm’s roots are.
“Bernstein Shur has a great story to tell,” Linda Varrell, president and founder of Broadreach, said in a news release. “They are a regional leader and innovator in many highly active and successful practice areas. We are honored to be chosen and to have the opportunity to assist.”
“Having the level of expertise and knowledge we need close by is a real plus,” said Kimberly McCall, director of marketing and business development. “Our firm has a lot going on and we are looking forward to working with Broadreach to get the word out.”

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
