WORCESTER, Mass. — Former Brunswick High School standout baseball player Luke Carter is enjoying a good start to his collegiate career at Clark University.

Clark (1-4) is in Florida on its annual spring trip, and Carter is taking advantage of the warmer temperatures. He sports a .385 batting average, having hit safely in each of the Cougars’ five games.

Carter has also enjoyed success in the classroom, carrying a a 3.45 grade-point average.

Clark takes on Waynesburg (Pa.) University in Auburndale, Fla. today.
