
She was a native and life- long resident of Waycross until making her home in Folkston for the past three years. She was the daughter of the late James Strickland and Gladys Waldron Strickland.
She was a member of Emerson Park Baptist Church. Her favorite hobby was playing Bingo.
Survivors include her husband of forty-nine years, James Patrick Temple, Sr of Folkston; four daughters, Tammy Dillender (husband Sam) of Elko, NV, Annette Flood ( husband Dondi) of Odum, Teresa Carr (husband Allen) of Gresham, OR, and Pam Scobee (husband Pete) of Blackshear, GA; two sons, David Strickland (wife Nikki) of Folkston, GA and Jimmy Temple, Jr., (wife Nancy) of Waycross, GA; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five sisters two brothers, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service was held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Music Funeral Home Chapel. Sympathy can be expressed by signing the online registry at www.musicfuneralhome.com. Music Funeral Home of Waycross, GA is in charge of arrangements.
