
She was born on August 30th, 1937 in Popham, the daughter of Clinton and Emma (Hutchins) Newdick.
Ellen enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She had worked for L.L. Bean, The Highlands, and Goodwill.
She is survived by her sons James and his wife Terry Card of Pemaquid, William and his wife Cheryl Card of Harpswell; daughters Wendy and her husband Darren Johnson of Rock Springs, Wy, Cathy and her husband Scott Lindsay of Georgetown; grandchildren Karrisa, Tessa, Guy, Ashley, Matthew, Joshua, Kelly, Michael, Taylor, Brooke, Brett; great-grandchildren Leighla and Natalie; siblings Bertha Harmon, Bud Newdick, Mary Pinkham. She was predeceased by her husband Guy Card and her parents.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Haley Cemetery, River Road, Topsham on Monday, April 2nd, at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the American Cancer Society, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
