BIDDEFORD — The University of New England Nor’easters opened up an 11-1 lead in the first half on their way to an 18- 2 Senior Day win over Nichols College in a Commonwealth Coast Conference women’s lacrosse match played Saturday afternoon at the Big Blue Turf.
Jocelyn Davee (Freeport) scored four times in the win, with three coming in the first half.
UNE plays at Endicott College at 4 p.m. today. A victory secures the No. 2 seed and an opening-round bye for the Nor’easters when the CCC Championship gets underway on Saturday.
