TOPSHAM — Oxford Hills visited Mt. Ararat High School in girls lacrosse action on Tuesday and the host Eagles won, 14-4.

Goals for the home team came from Sierra Gilley and Alison Nolan with four each. Rebecca Schuman, Erin Tome and Carly Raymond had two goals each, while Schuman chipped in with three assists for the Eagles.

Oxford Hills got goals from Coley Zufelt, Paige Garcia, Katie Bowie and Haylee Chute. Bailey Sullivan had nine saves for the hosts, while Samantha Bickford had 11 saves on 26 Mt. Ararat shots.

Mt. Ararat improved to 2-4 and visits rival Brunswick on Thursday.

FREEPORT GIRLS 16
FRYEBURG 3

Freeport beat Fryeburg Academy at Fryeburg on Tuesday.

The Falcons improved to 5-1 and are scheduled to host Gardiner on Saturday (10 a.m.).

Eight different players scored for Freeport. Emily Johnson led with three goals and two assists, followed by Meredith Broderick (three goals), Julia Dearden (two goals, two assists), Lizzy Martin (two goals, three assists), Courtney Broderick (two goals), and Julie Fosburg, Lily Johnston and Nina Moore with a goal each.

Freeport goalie Molly Lane had five saves.

Scoring for Fryeburg were Alexandra Fraize (two goals) and Hannah Frye.

MORSE GIRLS 21
MTN. VALLEY 3

On Tuesday, Morse improved to 4-1 and visits Oceanside on Thursday.

Ruth Nadeau paced the Shipbuilders with six goals, followed by Sophie Sreden ( 3- 1), Grace Koslosky ( 3- 1), Isabelle Paulus ( 1- 3), Madison Savary (3-0 ), Maddy Olsen ( 1- 2), Paige Daigle ( 2- 1), Taylor Gagnon (1-0), Amanda Gagne (0-2) and Noa Sreden (1-0).

Catherine Sener made five saves for Morse, while Mountain Valley’s Jordan True had three stops.

Katie Puiia led Mountain Valley (1-4) with two goals.

FREEPORT BOYS 8

Sam Wogan and Connor Dostie struck for three goals each as the host Falcons improved to 5-2 with a Western Maine Conference win over the Flyers (4-2).

Brady LaFrance and Ramsey Dodge added a goal and assist each, while Wogan and Dostie chipped in a helper apiece.

Freeport, which visits Gorham on Saturday, received 21 saves from Zac Wogan.
