BOWDOIN — The Country Fareways Par-3 Golf Club is scheduled to host a Glow Ball Tournament on May 5.
The 10-hole scramble event hasa7p.m.registrationand 7:30 p.m. tee-off time with fees ($25 for singles, $100 for foursome) due at signing.
The tournament is limited to the first 100 golfers and early sign-up is encouraged.
Golfers can bring their own coolers with their choice of beverages, and light snacks will be served while the scores are tallied.
One pink glow ball is included in the fee and the course will have pink lightsticks on flagsticks and pink luminaries at the tee markers.
Proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Division of the American Cancer Society.
Prizes will go to the first, second and third place teams, with closest- to- the- pin for men (No. 7) and women (No. 10).
