Melaine Christensen of Brunswick, a sophomore majoring in secondary education, earth and space science, was named a Michael D. Wilson Research Scholar at the University of Maine at Farmington. The program recognizes students for their original academic and creative research projects that help them connect classroom learning with realworld experience.
