BRUNSWICK — The local observance of the 61st National Day of Prayer will be held on Thursday at the town mall gazebo at noon.
The one-hour program will include community members of all ages, including prekindergarten students leading the Pledge of Allegiance to retired and current military families who will be honoring those who are serving the country.
In addition, there will be worship and music by the Sprague Family. Prayer will be given for the town, state, nation, government, media, churches, schools, business and families.
In the event of rain, the gathering will be at Elks Lodge 2043, 179 Park Row. For more information, call 443- 1300.
