TOPSHAM — Jack Mickles, Kyle Lussier and Mark Abreu scored two goals each to lift No. 4 Mt. Ararat High School past No. 5 Cony, 8-5 in Eastern Maine Class A boys lacrosse quarterfinal action on Tuesday.
Mickles and Abreu each added an assist, while Jordan Castonguay and Kellan Radulski had a goal each, and Jake Schoenberg and Elliot Pressman an assist each.
Connor Read made nine saves for the 9-4 Eagles, who play the winner of today’s Brunswick/Lewiston quarterfinal in semifinal action on Saturday.
Jon Sabban had two goals for the 8-5 Rams, while Austin Davis added a goal and two assists, and Bronson Kietlyko and John Bennett a goal each.
