PORTLAND — E2Tech will conduct a forum titled “The Solid Waste Hierarchy: Waste-to-Energy & the Brighter Side of Landfills” on Thursday, June 26, from 7:15 to 9:30 a.m., at Wishcamper Center, USM Portland campus, 34 Bedford St., Portland.
The speakers include: Rep. Joan Welsh, co-chair, Maine Legislature, Environmental & Natural Resources Committee; Kevin Roche, CEO, ecomaine; Mark Draper, solid waste director, Tri-Community Recycling and Sanitary Landfill; Karen Flanders, vice president, Sustainability & Regulatory Affairs; and Abbie Webb, sustainability manager, Casella Waste Systems.
