PORTLAND
Justin Haley spun seven innings of one-run ball and the Portland Sea Dogs (18-32) defeated the Hartford Yard Goats (30-19), 8-6 on Memorial Day at Hadlock Field to split the Eastern League four-game series. The Sea Dogs set a season high with 15 hits.
Haley was outstanding in his 10th start of the year. He allowed just one run on five hits in seven innings, walking one and striking out five.
