BATH — Pitching ruled the day in recent Cal Ripken Minor League interdivision action as Plant Home and B&L Hardwood wound up tied, 3-3.
For the Plant Home, Jackson Walker and Isaak Flaming struck out five each in two innings of work, and Thomas Warren struck out six in three innings.
For B & L Hardwood, Cam Taylor struck out four in two innings, Conrandt five in two innings and Marley Groat five in three innings of work.
The Plant Home offense was led by Warren, who went 3-for-3 with two singles and a double, Flaming with a double, Sam Kirkpatrick, Joe Guenther and Walker a single each, with the latter scoring the game-tying run in the bottom of the seventh on a Joey Cholish single.
For B&L Hardwood, Groat set the pace, going 2-for-3 with two singles, and Hunter Backhaus smacked a triple. The Plant Home left 11 runners on base and B & L eight.
