OSLO, Norway (AP) — Norwegian right-wing extremist Anders Behring Breivik, on trial for killing 77 people in a massacre last July, says he won’t appeal the court’s verdict if he is deemed sane.
Breivik has admitted to the July 22 massacre, where he gunned down 69 people attending a youth retreat on Utoya island and set off a bomb in central Oslo that killed eight others.
Two psychological examinations have reached opposite conclusions on whether Breivik is psychotic.
