BRUNSWICK — Lee’s Tire blanked Downeast Energy, 11- 0 in Cal Ripken Baseball action on Monday.
Pitchers Kevin Carter (two innings), Dakota D’Orio (three) and Cam Cox (one) combined for 12 strikeouts against no walks.
Carter led the offense with a triple,
Downeast Brunswick pitchers Zach Meggison (three innings), Tyler Flavin (two) and Josh Goddard combined for 10 strikeouts and six walks.
Downeast’s only hit was a hard hit single by Goddard.
