PITTSFIELD (AP) — A 34- year-old Maine man is recovering with injuries he sustained during a hard landing while skydiving.
Police say Steve Straub of Corinth was taken by helicopter to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor after the hard landing at Pittsfield Airport around 10 a.m. Sunday.
Pittsfield police Sgt. Timothy Roussin told the Bangor Daily News that Straub landed too fast and too hard, breaking a leg and other bones.
