BRUNSWICK — United Way’s Success By 6 program will stop by the Tontine Mall Sunday with children’s activities to celebrate Wild Oats Bakery and Cafe’s ongoing 20th anniversary celebration.
Children in attendance will receive Success By 6 bookmarks to color and parents and other family members can learn more about early childhood and get parenting tips.
A portion of the day’s sales will go to the United Way program that promotes early childhood education and development.
“This event provides a fun Sunday activity for families and a way to continue to build support for children and families throughout our community,” said Peter Lindsay, director of Success By 6 at the United Way of Mid Coast Maine, in a press release.
For information about the event that runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wild Oats, contact Lindsay at at 443-9752.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
