Angela Twitchell, BTLT executive director, and her son, Hayden Libby, hosted the girls and took them on a hike to show them the extent of winter’s damage to the trail. The girls know their hard work will help to beautify their community and benefit their neighbors.
Chloe Anna expressed her excitement. “This trail is awesome. It feels good to help out.”
Kenzie Doble added her comments. “This is fun‚ I love hiking and working on trails.”
A donation from this year’s cookie sales were also given to support the Land Trust’s upcoming projects. The Scouts also expressed an interest in continuing to help out as Macy Galietta asked, “Can we do this next week?”
