EDGECOMB — A fundraising supper will be held at the Edgecomb Community
Church on Saturday, July 16. The supper will benefit The Eldercare Network of Lincoln County. The Eldercare Network operates its flagship facility, Hodgdon Green in Damariscotta, and six assisted living homes located in Wiscasset, Boothbay, Round Pond, Edgecomb, Waldoboro and Jefferson. It is currently developing an independence at home program to assist seniors who desire to stay in their own home.
Sponsored by the Mission Outreach Committee, the supper will be held in the wheel chair accessible church fellowship hall. The menu consists of casseroles, salads, rolls, beverages and desserts. The supper will be served from 5-6 p.m. The charge is $8 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
The thrift shop will open at 4:30 p.m. for browsers who come early. The church is located on Cross Point Road in Edgecomb. For more information visit edgecombchurch.org.
