WINDHAM — Cody Dube held Smith-Tobey Post 21 to five hits in a 5-0 American Legion Zone III Baseball victory for Windham (5-4) on Thursday.

Smith-Tobey (4-6) dropped its third consecutive contest and visits Mechanic Falls/Poland on Saturday for a doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Wade Hunt singled twice, with Torrey Charnock, Joey Van Note and Liam McDonough each adding a single for Smith-Tobey.

On the mound, Nick Karkos, Reid Drouin and Dan Porter handled the pitching for Smith-Tobey, combining to allow four hits and seven walks, with four strikeouts.

Dube struck out the side in each of the first four innings, finishing with 14 strikeouts. He also doubled in a run.

Visiting Bethel/Locke Mill scored four runs in both the first and second innings in picking up a Zone III victory at Edwards Field.

Izaak Mills was the hitting star for the visitors, driving in six runs with two singles and a solo home run.

Ryan Salerno tripled and scored Brunswick’s (6-4) lone run on an RBI single by Trent Anderson. Alex Viola was 2- for-3 at the plate for the hosts, who visit Bessey Motors for a Saturday doubleheader, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in South Paris.

Bethel/Locke Mill improved to 6-5.
