NEW LONDON, N.H. — The Maine Maritime Academy men’s soccer team dropped a hard-fought 4-0 NAC contest to Colby-Sawyer College on Saturday.

The Mariners found themselves down early when the Chargers found the back of the net in the 10th minute. Denali Sexton picked up his fourth goal of the season when he rebounded his own shot and beat Mariners keeper Marshall Spear.

MMA heavily pressured the Colby-Sawyer net, recording seven shots in the first half alone, but the Chargers struck again late in the first half.

Mariners senior Gabriel Warren of Edgecomb led the visitors with two shots on goal.

Maine Maritime is 7-5-1 overall and visits Thomas College this upcoming Saturday in Waterville.
