GORHAM — The Bowdoin College women’s soccer team scored four times in the second half to give first-year head coach Brianne Weaver a victory in her Polar Bear debut in a 4-0 victory over the University of Southern Maine on Thursday afternoon.

Freshmen Jamie Hofstetter and Kiersten Turner, along with Amanda Kinneston and Casey Blossom scored for 1-0 Bowdoin, which is slated to host Wesleyan University on Saturday at noon.

Molly Popolizio and Alexa Yurick had one assist each.
