FREEPORT — Jocelyn Davee finished off a pass from Necole Harrison seven minutes into the second half as the Freeport High School girls soccer team defeated North Yarmouth Academy 2-0 in Western Maine Conference play on Monday.
Harrison doubled the Falcons lead with 14 minutes left.
Freeport, 4-4 and scheduled to visit Poland on Wednesday at 6 p.m., received one save from netminder Aubrey Pennell.
NYA’s Scout Fischman turned aside 12 shots.

Noell Acord scored four goals to lead Richmond High School past Greater Portland Christian on Monday.
Sadie Gosse chipped in with two goals and four assists, Amber Loon two goals and an assist, Jesse Anair two goals and Kelsea Anair and Payton Johnson a goal each.
Taylor Clapp, Autumn Anair and Andra Meagher each had an assist.
The 8-0 Bobcats, scheduled to host Bangor Christian Academy on Thursday, led in shots 41- 1 with Kesli Obi and Jesse Anair combining on one save.
