TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School eighthgrade boys soccer team earned a tie and victory in recent action.
On Monday, Brunswick and Mt. Ararat played to a 0-0 tie.
Elliot Bowie and Steven Schuman split time in the net for the Eagles, with Cole Guerin, Kyle Brown and Hank Gilson playing well defensively.
On Wednesday Mt. Ararat beat Tripp 4-0 at Turner.
Scoring goals for the Eagles were Jimmy Pelletier and Cole Guerin, both unassisted. Also scoring for the Eagles were Jacob Sturgess (from Kyle Brown) and Baron Becker, with the assist going to Sturgess.
Jacob Laurence and Schuman combined for the shutout for the Eagles, now 3- 0-1.
