The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall Tuesday of Haier 42-inch LED TVs.

Approximately 5,000 Haier 42-inch LED TVs were recalled because the TV stand’s neck support can break and cause the TV to tip over, posing a risk of injury.

Haier America and CPSC received 184 reports of the TV stand’s neck cracking or breaking. The model number of the affected TVs is LE42B1380.

The units were sold at Fry’s Electronics and other retail stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com and other online retailers from September 2011 through March 2012.
