Low- and middle-income taxpayers, especially those 60 or older, can get free help filling out their income tax forms from AARP.
The service starts Feb. 1 through April 17, and is offered in Bath, at the Bath Area Senior Center and Patten Free Library; in Brunswick, at Curtis Memorial Library and People Plus; in Freeport, at Freeport Community Services; in Topsham, at the Topsham Public Library and Spectrum Generations; and in Wiscasset, at Wiscasset Community Center.
